Five and one-half couples (11 people) went to the Northeast Field Days in Hartford. Noble Warren Curtis did a marvelous job of obtaining an escort from the hotel to the parade route. A very large motorcycle officer gave them a tour to the parade, and back after the parade. They covered much of the city in the units, and all had a great time. Pictures will be available later. They attended the dance Friday night, and even Charles behaved. Several of the group went shopping in the Portland mall on the return trip. The police loved that trucks and Warren.
We only had four members attend the October 2nd meeting as there was little to discuss.
Noble Havey has lined up two sponsors that are willing to refurbish their trucks, as needed. We want to have all the units repainted this winter, if possible.
Noble Tom Snowman wants to thank all unit members for their help this year. November 6th will be our next meeting and elections will take place.
One of the moose hunters was successful, but I don't know how old two tags did (will report his results later).
