N Well the Patrol started the parade season with two parades back to back, it was kind of a soggy start with all the RAIN, but no one can control the WEATHER.
Friday, the 9th, we marched in the Special Olympics Parade at UMO. We were one of two Shrine units present, as the others were up north for the June Ceremonial. After the parade some traveled to Mars Hill that night and the rest followed Saturday morning to take part in the Ceremonial. We marched in the parade that morning, (it doesn't rain in Aroostook County, it rains on Aroostook County). After changing to dry uniforms we performed escort duty that afternoon for the Ceremonial. We want to welcome new member Bill Daniels, I understand we may have picked up two or three new members at the Ceremonial.
As far as I know our next parade will be the Shrine Trot.
