PRESS RELEASE — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Shrine Circus opens in the Bangor Auditorium on April 25 through April 27th. Performances are scheduled on Friday, April 25 at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM., Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm; Sunday, April 27 at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Performances are slated for Presque Isle at the Northern Maine Forum May 1, 2 & 3. Shows are Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 pm only; Friday, May 2 at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Saturday, May 3 at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

All seats are General Admission and advance tickets are available in Bangor at Anah Shrine Center, 586 Main Street, Bangor (942-2254) and in Presque Isle at The Forum (764-0491) or from Anah Shriners all over central and northern Maine.

Luciano's Pound Puppies is a unique act involving dogs rescued from animal control services. Luciano takes ordinary dogs that he has rescued and trains them. You will not believe how incredibly these ordinary-looking dogs perform. This is no regular dog act. These dogs will make you laugh, at their fast paced routine, presented by an old fashioned Ring Master in a Choo-ChooTrain!

"Born in a trunk", these ninth generation circus brothers perform with incredible acrobatic agility and dexterity. First time presented anywhere, they make their Risley debut performance at the Dade Co. Fair. Risley is the art of "foot juggling" using a person as the object being "juggled"!

ANASTASINI'S DIABLOS
The dynamic art of Diabolo Juggling is extraordinary. The Anastsini Family has re-created this wooden Chinese toy into the modern cylindrical Diabolo of today! Using a variety of highly decorated Diabolos, this unique presentation performed by the eighth-generation Anastsini Troupe is both invigorating and dynamic.

THE PERFILYEV DUO IRINA AND ANDRE
Irina and Andre Perfilyev duo were just thirteen years old and in eighth grade when they met. They spent four years at the Moscow State Circus and Variety College where they perfected their trapeze skills and signature tricks, in which they voluntarily break their hold on each other, leaving Irina literally flying, unsupported in space. This act has toured world wide, won numerous awards, including the prestigious Gold Medal in North Korea Circus Festival. Having toured with the Big Apple Circus in 2007 this is their debut performance here. You will see it but not believe your eyes as they thrill you with their unprecedented performance!

INTERMISSION

THE MONGOLIAN ARCHERS
Complete trust and confidence in your partner, is the main ingredient in this act. Could you stand in front of a target, as your spouse shoots arrows from a bow and a crossbow, while blindfolded? This couple has been doing this for over 30 years. Archery expertise performed by the Vitale's from Mexico City Mexico.
