Scott Johnson, Reporter

Due to scheduling difficulties, we postponed the Election of the Unit Officers until the Annual Meeting in December. By the time this article is published, our Christmas Party, held at Ruth and Wimpy's in Hancock, will be over with only the exaggerated reports of what occurred still flying. According to Santa Gene, he has retired as our Big Elf and expects to be replaced by "Bubba" Claus Wayne. I am sure that there will be several tidbits of valuable information to be passed on this in future issues. If nothing else, Santa Wayne has had exciting experience with fire and fireplaces. I just hope that no one has a portable fireplace with handles that can ignite anywhere near where Santa Wayne is going to be. Wayne can honestly claim, "Been There, Done That, Got the Singe Marks!" Remember that Santa needs a good sense of humor and flameproof sleeves.

December birthdays: Ladies Phyllis Butler, Karen Merrick, and Holly Sinford, and Nobles Geddes Simpson and Bob Clark. There are no December anniversaries to report.

We are always interested in talking to Nobles who have the right stuff to skipper a land-locked boat! If you are that man, contact any member of the unit, or me at jscooter@ptc-me.net. We meet on the second Mondays at 7 PM at Jordan's in Ellsworth, March through November. We are very active in June, July and August with parades. We will resume our meetings next March. Hope to see you there. The Anah Lobster Boat Unit wishes all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Keep in touch and keep the Faith.
