Well here we are going into winter again but isn't this what makes Maine unique, the four seasons.
We had a good meeting September 20th at the clubhouse for the Medics. Ladies night for November 4th, nominations for 2007 term Littlefield, President; Jethro Pease, Vice President; Walter Campbell, Treasurer; Darrel Gilman, Secretary and Training Officer and H. Nickerson, Reporter.
Bylaws adoption was talked over and decided an Annual Meeting after Ladies Night.
I guess we all had a great time at the Fryeburg Fair October 1 - October 9th. A lot of Anah Temple Shriners and Medics had their campers there and even saw a few Kora Temple people there too. A good time was had by all.
October 12th the Waldo County Shrine Club Ladies Night had a wonderful meatloaf dinner that was put on by Noble Gene Palmer and Lady Nioka. It was a real good turnout.
October 14th was another good time at the Potentate's Reception at the Anah Shrine Center. Great appetizers, roast beef and baked stuffed haddock were on the menu.
October 16th the Belfast Lodge put on a nice meal and the Grand Lodge Officers were there and did the Third Degree on one candidate; did a very nice job.
Had a nice meal up at the Bangor-Brewer Shrine Club on the 19th.
October 27th we had a potluck supper and auction at the Waldo County Shrine Club. There wer e not many in attendance but we all had a good time.
A lot of fun and made some pretty good money for the club.
October 4th we had another nice time at the Chowder House Restaurant with our Medics' ladies. We had a good crowd show up and the food was good, but the service could stand some improvement. We even had our Illustrious Potentate Dick Hallett and Lady Carolyn with us which was quite an honor, coming all the way down from Mars Hill.
October 9th we had a nice ham dinner at the Waldo County Shrine Club put on by Dave Bowen and Lady Betty.
By the time you read this Thanksgiving will be all over. Hope everyone had a nice turkey day and many, many more.
December 2nd the Aroostook County Shrine Center will be having (or had) their Christmas Party which is always a lot of fun with dancing and dinner and a lot of sociability.
Backing up a little to November 11th dinner and dance at the Temple for Noble Appreciation Night. Had a great time thanks to Illustrious Potentate Dick Hallett and his Divan.
Well, Christmas is just around the corner and the Medics want to wish everybody a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
A Happy Birthday goes out to the following people for November: Diana Pease, Nan Simpson, and Herm Littlefield.
Anniversary wishes for Harland & Kay Nickerson.
For December a Happy Birthday goes out to Elsie Andrews and Dan Andrews.
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way.
Good health, good luck, and happiness for today and every day.
