Hello Nobles and race fans! It has been a wonderful fall with good weather and great racing. All too soon though, it wi Well Merry Christmas to all and hope all had a bountiful Thanksgiving!
This is my first attempt as a Reporter so any criticisms call me or e-mail me! I'm flexible!
The cars are put to rest for the winter awaiting Santa to send a few engines or brakes! Congratulations Bob Collins on being elected the new President for the Aroostook Shrine club and to David Perry as Treasurer of the Aroostook Shrine club!
The new garage door has been installed in the Indy Garage, so we have access to the cars through the winter. Thank you everyone for your help servicing the cars at the last meeting.
The Indy's are planning on their Christmas party; details are forthcoming.
The Annual meeting for the Indy's is in December for Election of Officers. Please attend, as everyone's input is important.
Welcome Dale Miller, William John Busse, and Jr. and Alan B. Cleaves, Sr. as new members of the Anah Indy's!
We are still looking for sponsors for three cars; let's beat the bushes!
Welcome back to the last meeting to Hollis Porter after his past illness. You're looking great, Hollis, keep it up! By next parade season I'm pretty sure you'll be in the best shape of all of us!
As I don't have anybody's birthdays or anniversaries yet I will get to those next month as I get them. Forward your information to me as soon as possible. I don't want to leave anyone out! The only one I have was in November and I'd like to take the time to thank my wife, Lady Betty, for keeping me in line for the last 15 years.
With the Holidays upon us, parades over, we can spend some quality time with our family and friends and thank them for supporting us during our absences for parades, meetings and Shrine activities. They allow us to go and support our charities (not to mention the fun we have during those parades)!
Information is important to the content of this column and I look for your help. You can e-mail me at John@safetycommunications.com or Indysinfo@safetycommunications.com or by soon clicking on the link in our New Web page. The web page will contain pictures of our cars, drivers and sponsors highlighting pictures of the parades. Also applications to join the Indy's. I hope to have it up by the first of the year.
As winter is at hand be safe and avoid cabin fever by attending your Shrine club meetings and your local and neighboring Blue Lodges where we make good men better men.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
