On a bright, sunny day in September, six members of the unit wended their way to Bangor and the Shrine Center for their monthly meeting. President Stan Reed wishes to thank those who attended the various functions this summer. Nancy and Ray Cunningham were at the meeting and said they were going to Florida for the winter. John and Pamela Ashmore were also there and John said they were heading to New Mexico for the winter. Not much business was transacted. The unit is available to work any degree for any lodge in the area. We also can do installations. Nobles, we need more participation in our meetings and degree work. The unit is going to put on the 5thº for the Scottish Rites next spring, more information to follow. Those celebrating birthdays are Larry Abbott, Lauri Dawson, Fritz Day, Wallace Harvey, Charlie Larson, Tim Merrill, and Susanne Chase. Anniversary congratulations go to Bill & Lauri Dawson, Rawleigh & Judy Hanscom, and Jerry & Norma Leighton.
